DUNIA, malangpost.id- Lagi-lagi kabar mengenai corona tak kunjung berhenti. Sudah mewabah sejak akhir tahun 2019 dan hingga saat ini masih menjadi bayang-bayang masyarakat di seluruh dunia, termasuk Indonesia. Hampir genap setahun corona menyebar di dunia dan terus menyebar.
Salah satu penyebab utama dari persebaran ini adalah interaksi antar manusia. Memang susah untuk menjaga jarak saat ini. Tidak mungkin seseorang untuk terus menerus dikurung dalam rumah tanpa adanya kontak fisik dengan orang lain. meskipun hal tersebut memanglah tidak seharusnya dilakukan tetapi sekarang kontak fisik menjadi hal yang wajar kembali.
Mengingat masyarakat yang sudah jenuh atas pandemi ini, pemerintah dunia mulai menerapkan kehidupan baru atau biasa disebut new normal. Ternyata new normal ini tidak sesuai dengan apa yang diharapkan. Saat ini orang mulai acuh tak acuh akan keadaan ini. banyak sekali orang yang tidak menggunakan masker. Tak terkecuali orang Indonesia yang juga masih tak peduli akan permasalahan ini.
Sejatinya apabila masyarakat peduli dan awas akan pandemi ini, bukan tidak mungkin persebaran bisa ditekan dan angka pertumbuhan corona bisa menurun. Tetapi nyatanya saat ini banyak sekali masyarakat yang tak peduli. Mulai dari tidak memakai masker hingga tidak rutin mencuci tangan.
Acuhnya masyarakat Indonesia ternyata bisa memberikan ‘prestasi’ di kancah internasional. Data dari Johns Hopkins University menyatakan bahwa Indonesia telah memasuki ranking 20 besar kasus positif di dunia. Per 8 Oktober ini Indonesia memasuki 20 besar kasus positif dunia, ini menjadi pertanda bahwa kita sedang tidak baik-baik saja.
Tidak hanya Indonesia
Di lain sisi ini juga terdapat kabar buruk bagi dunia. Saat ini sudah terdapat 36 juta penduduk di dunia yang terkonfirmasi positif virus corona. Padahal per tanggal 5 Oktober kemarin kasus positif mencapai 35 juta jiwa. Ini menandakan bahwa terdapat peningkatan satu juta jiwa yang terkonfirmasi kasus positif selama kurun waktu 3 hari.
Ini menjadi pertanda bahwa dunia masih belum bisa menangani permasalahan ini dengan baik. Diperlukan bayak pihak untuk segera menggerakkan dirinya masing-masing untuk bahu-membahu mengatasi pandemi ini. Karena bila dilakukan hanya oleh sebagian orang saja, maka hal tersebut akan menjadi sia-sia.
