Menurut Dr Hj Ilfi Nurdiana MSi, Wakil Rektor 2 Bidang Administrasi Umum Perencanaan dan Keuangan UIN Malang, kegiatan tersebut dilaksanakan sebagai wujud motivasi ASN UIN Malang.
“Jadi tidak hanya mencari hidup di kampus, tapi juga membuat kampus ini hidup. Kalau hidup maka UIN Malang semakin unggul dan bereputasi internasional, jadi otomatis ASN kita terangkat, baik kesejahteraannya maupun nilai sosialnya,” ujarnya.
Ia menambahkan, pada Hari Lahir ke-60 UIN Malang ini sekaligus menjadi bentuk deklarasi diri sebagai Perguruan Tinggi Keagamaan Islam Negeri (PTKIN) yang unggul dan bereputasi internasional.
“Jadi itu hadiah untuk UIN Malang, karena selama ini belum bereputasi internasional, belum unggul,” jelasnya.
Untuk itu, Ilfi meminta pihaknya terus membangun komitmen bersama untuk menapaki tahap sebagai kampus terbaik yang unggul dan bereputasi internasional.
Guna mendukung tahap tersebut, UIN Malang menargetkan tahun 2022 nanti sebesar 60% program studi sudah harus terakreditasi A. Mengingat saat ini prodi yang terakreditasi A belum mencapai 50%.
Sehingga, pihaknya perlu mendorong pimpinan fakultas supaya melakukan reakreditasi dengan konsekuensi punishment jika tidak terealisasi.
“Karena tidak mungkin kita bereputasi internasional kalau belum akreditasi A. Kalau sudah akreditasi A harus unggul,” tekannya dikutip Malangpost.id dari Kumparan.
