KAMPUS, Malangpost.id – Di era disrupsi saat ini, Jurusan Sastra Jerman Fakultas Sastra Universitas Negeri Malang berhasil melaksanakan Seminar Nasional Pembelajaran Bahasa dan Sastra (SELASAR) 6 yang bertemakan „Merdeka Belajar dalam Pembelajaran Bahasa, Sastra, dan Budaya“.
Ketua Pelaksana Kegiatan, Bapak Iwa Sobara selaku dosen Bahasa Jerman di Universitas Negeri Malang menjelaskan, kegiatan ini berawal dari keingintahuan efektivitas program Merdeka Belajar yang telah diterapkan oleh UM selama dua tahun.
Kegiatan ini merupakan salah satu cara untuk melihat adanya tantangan, hambatan, serta peluang yang dihadapi merdeka belajar saat ini melalui diskusi panel dan paralel.
“Selama program MBKM ini bergulir, kami ingin mengetahui apakah mahasiswa mendapatkan output sesuai dengan harapan pemerintah atau bagaimana,“ ujar Bapak Iwa (28/05)
“Dengan diadakannya kegitan ini, diharapkan peserta mendapat informasi dan wawasan dari kegiatan MBKM. Selain itu, peserta juga dapat mengetahui implementasi dari dilaksanakannya kegiatan MBKM di UM“, sambungnya.
Antusiasme Peserta Terhadap Kegiatan SELASAR
Dalam kegiatan ini, tema yang diangkat menjadi daya tarik tersendiri bagi peserta. Hal ini dikarenakan kegiatan MBKM yang baru saja dilaksanakan serta banyak peserta yang mengikuti kegiatan MBKM di UM, seperti Asistensi Mengajar, Magang, Pertukaran Mahasiswa, dll.
“Selama satu hingga dua minggu dibuka untuk makalah, antusias peserta sangat tinggi yang dilihat dari banyaknya jumlah makalah yang diterima oleh panitia,“ ujar Bapak Iwa.
Namun karena keterbatasan waktu, sehingga panitia harus menyeleksi makalah yang masuk dan memilih beberapa makalah saja yang akan dipresentasikan nantinya.
“Dalam diskusi panel kegiatan ini dihadiri oleh tiga orang narasumber, yaitu: Dr. Phil. Dian Ekawati, M.A (UNPAD); Dr. Anas Ahmadi, S.Pd., M.Pd. (UNESA); dan Dr. Herry Akhmad Buchori, M.A., M.Hum (UM) dengan pembahasan yang berbeda,“ ungkap Bapak Iwa.
Selai itu, ada sebanyak 46 makalah yang akan dipresentasikan pada acara seminar ini. Dimana pemakalah berasal dari universitas: UNJ, UIN Walisongo Semarang, ISI Denpasar, UNS, UNPAD, dan sebagainya. Total peserta yang mengikuti kegiatan ini sebanyak 152 orang.
Melalui kegiatan ini, diharapkan dapat mengetahui keefektifan dari dilaksanakannya program MBKM ini khususnya dalam bidang bahasa dan sastra. Selain itu, bagi mahasiswa dapat mendapatkan informasi sebagai bahan pertimbangan dalam memilih program MBKM yang sesuai guna menunjang soft-skills kemampuan mahasiswa.
Tidak menutup kemungkinan, mendatang akan diadakan seminar nasional lanjutan terkait dengan merdeka belajar. Dimana tidak hanya yang bersifat informatif, tetapi juga interaktif dan efektif bagi pembelajaran.
